I love the new ability to have a link to TaskStream and have it open in the app. There was recently an update to TaskStream though and they no longer support the stock Android browser. The page says Chrome and Firefox are supported. I've switched to using Chrome and it's working fine. Is it possible to have the TaskStream link open an external browser instead of using the stock browser in the app?
Thanks for a great app!

That would be an easy change to make, I'll try to get it into the next version.
Strange that TS would do something like this. In my previous experience with them, their site structure was always rather "mobile hositle". I haven't had an active TS account for nearly a year now, so I haven't been able to test this part much. I do still have a login, but it only takes me to my archive. I suspect they've made changes to the live student interface that I've never seen.

@tornado14
When accessing TS from within PocketWGU, the page you receive from TS about using the "Android stock browser" has a link under that note that says "continue to the Taskstream web site". Could you try clicking that link and letting me know if things continue to work?
I'm not saying this is the solution, just that I'd like to know if things still work as well as before while using the standard Android browser.
Thanks,

So here's what we've done in version 1.0.5 of PocketWGU...
When you click on the link within the app, it will now ask how you would like to open TaskStream. You should be presented with a list of all the web browsers installed on your device plus the PocketWGU app itself. You may choose to launch TaskStream through PocketWGU or any other browser you have installed.
TS uses a ton of JavaScript and CSS in their site that isn't optimized for mobile devices. They want you to use a browser that supports all of that complexity and implemented browser detection to steer you to a very small set of browsers they feel will work best. The stock Android browser didn't make their list of "best", but you are still allowed to use it by clicking on the "continue to Taskstream web site" link. In my own experience, it still works fine, but I haven't gone through the entire student-facing site to be sure.
At the end of the day, PocketWGU should give you a choice, and with version 1.0.5, it does.
