Hoping you can help w/ a problem i'm having. My current 'semester' started on February 1st. I had some course changes that went through the WGU system yesterday. Everything in my Android synched up just fine. However, on my iPad, the courses/semesters are a mess after sync'ing. At present, I have 5 'current' courses this semester, and another two after that. However, in the iPad app, under 'current', it's showing a bunch of other courses that I took long ago. Is it possible that the DB is corrupted? I tried uninstalling the app, restarting the iPad, then re-installing the app. I've tried re-syncing. No luck. Is there a way to 'reset' it so that it pulls fresh data from WGU? Or is it possible that this is an issue w/ the app?
Look forward to your guidance. Happy to discuss it further if that would be of help. Feel free to send an email directly to my email and I will respond with my phone number (if that would be of help).
LOVE the app (on my Droid AND my iPad). It's one of my favorite apps!
THANKS!

Howdy SCinSP,
I would guess that this is a bug in the iOS version of the app, probably related to how the "Term" and "Assessment Status" of your courses is reported by WGU. The iOS version of PocketWGU is particularly sensitive to anything it doesn't expect in this area. We've been meaning to fix that and are working on updates to the iOS version now.
With that said, there is something else that could be going on here. When you uninstalled the app from your iPad, how did you re-install it? If you sync'ed the app from your PC/Mac back onto your device, it's possible that the old database was re-installed onto the device. If you haven't already, try this:
If the above works, then you'll probably just need to delete the app from the iTunes backup on you PC/Mac. If it doesn't work, we'll need to figure out if the data from WGU is somehow different from what the app expects and fix the app.
We'll shoot you an email as well. Thanks!

This was a bug in the way the app handles certain course status information. This has been fixed in version 1.2.1 of the iOS app that was sent in to Apple for review last night. As soon as it posts, an upgrade should fix your issues. Thanks for the report!

Version 1.2.1 is available on iTunes as of 2/13. SCinSP confirms that this version fixes the issue. Thanks!
